Transformers Legacy Doom N’ Destruction Collection Breakdown & Windsweeper 2-pack

Breakdown

A Decepticon with a crippling case of Agoraphobia, Breakdown prefers to work solo, away from prying eyes who judge everything he does. Previously only a small-framed Decepticon Scout, he was upgraded to a bigger form after trying to take on the Autobot, Bulkhead. The two now share an anonymity against each other and are bitter rivals.

The figure is a retool redeco of Legacy-United Bulkhead.

His riot shield can be stowed away on his back when not in use.

The shade of blue looks pretty good for this ‘con.

Similar to Bulkhead, he comes with the mace accessory that can be clipped onto his fist.

He also comes with a gatling gun that can be mounted on his shoulder.

Naturally, the gatling gun can be removed and held in his hands.

Lastly, he comes with his hammer accessory that previously came with Wreck N’ Rule Bulkhead.

All of his accessories can be combined onto one hand, by using the mace as a starting piece.

Breakdown’s weapons can be mounted onto the side of the truck.

Alternately, they can also be placed inside the tarp of the alt mode. Pretty clever.

Windsweeper

Windsweeper is an insane neat freak, hating the smallest of liter and stains with extreme disdain. A former head of Cybertronic sanitation, he’s gone as far as shooting fellow Decepticons who litter. Windsweeper is also VERY territorial, opting to shoot anything else near him when he’s in the skies, be it friend or foe.

Windsweeper is a redeco retool of Legacy Needlenose.

I really like how posey this mold design is, it’s even got rotating fists.

The headsculpt’s not too shabby either.

Targetmaster Ozone

The figure is a straight-up redeco of Zigzag, one of the Targetmasters that came with Needlenose.

Ozone transforms into a double-barreled blaster (Twin Electrostatic Overloader Rifle).

Targetmaster Cleansweep

Same as with Ozone, Cleansweep is a redeco of Sunbeam, Needlenose’s other Targetmaster partner.

Cleansweep transforms into a single-barreled blaster (Solar-powered Light Burst Discharger).

Both Ozone and Cleansweep are named after the G.i. Joes that were in the short-lived Eco Warriors Sub-team. As originally Windsweeper was a Triggercon that came out without Targetmasters, these two are all-new to the Transformers line and have not received any actual background bios as of this writing.

Target On!

Both Targetmasters can be combined to form a superweapon.

The Targetmasters can be mounted below the wing’s hardpoints.

Similar to Needlenose, the rifles can also be combined and connected to the rear section of the jet mode to form super thrusters.

With Windsweeper out, we now have the full Triggercon team in modern form!
Crankcase
Ruckus
Overall, pretty good, I suppose. The choice of molds to reuse from earlier releases isn’t too shabby. It all comes together rather nicely. I think the reuse of Bulkhead to make Breakdown matches pretty well with the two, while Windsweeper looks really good and captures the look of the original G1 toy, even though he is a simple retool of Needlenose.
Personally, I would’ve preferred to just get Windsweeper, as the two-pack seems unecessary (same with Ruckus, who was packed with Bludgeon).
This set was released as an Amazon exclusive.
